Intellects is a small business that operates out of Virginia, USA and a Registered Entity in Afghanistan with a fully staffed branch office in Kabul. Intellects was founded based on 16 years of direct and indirect linguistic and cultural advisory experience supporting the US military missions abroad and in the United States of America. It specializes in Testing and Training of almost all foreign languages along with providing Interpretation and Translation services in any foreign language and cultural advisory support. It also provides temporary staffing in North America and logistical support in Southeast Asia.
Considering the dynamics of regional vernaculars, testing of foreign languages can be subjective and complex. Intellects, with possessing extensive knowledge of the subject matter and understanding of the end-users’ needs, conducts Language Testing with the target population in mind. Intellects resources native and educated language speakers from the target population and trains in-house prior to conducting Language Testing for our clients.
Most of Intellects Language Evaluators are either ACTFL or ATA certified. Additionally, Intellects has developed a rigorous training program that every tester must complete prior to conducting language testing on behalf of Intellects.
